British heavyweight prospect Tyson Fury (12-0, 9KOs) is currently working on some of his flaws with Hall of Fame trainer/manager Emanuel Steward in Detroit, Michigan, according to Scoop Malinowski of Boxing Insider. The 22-year-old Fury wants to polish up his boxing skills. The current training scenario seems to be going forward on a trial basis but a source told Malinowski that a future working relationship between the two of them is not beyond the scope of reality.

Stewart will do alot for Fury, develop a good jab, learn proper foot work. It is a good chance for Fury to go as far as he can.

Good move by Fury. I've said it before in the past (maybe not here, maybe on livefight.com) that Fury needs to head stateside to get a better trainer and better sparring options, and obviously that has turned out to be the natural path for the kid.

At the current stage of his career he needs this badly to continue improving. His gypsy family group might be quaint but are not going to take him further than domestic level. This is exactly what he needs to see if he can develop the skills to go with his physical tools that could potentially take him to a world title shot.

Don't forget, this guy is as big as the Klitschkos and has a longer reach. He just needs the right training routine and attitude, which hopefully Manny Steward can implement.
