Marco is a killer. no fear.
He throws punches from every angel. as Godfrey his last victim said "I could avoid his first 4, 5 punches but he threw 6, 7, 8 and caught me"
a very explosive, instinctive fighter with good pop behind his punches.
I must admit hes a bit dirty with his elbow and low blows, but he didnt do it to hurt his foes he just throws. he was a former streetfighter a real kid who fights everyone.
I forgot what has been said about his amateur time, but maybe he hasnt one. I just know he fought a lot on the streets.
hes still young, 25 years. lost only once to USS at the age of 22 I think.
He will show what he got in the Super 6 at Cruiserweight.Last edited by cleaner147; 10-14-2010, 06:34 PM. -
the fight with USS was stopped cuz Marco broke his jaw.
best fights who I got impressived with him was in the Ramirez (was crowned WBO champ) and Afobali (he got badly hurt in the 10th I think but put his **** together and won the last 2 rounds) fights where he boxed real good with ring smartness and a good jab and defence ability.Comment

Boring, crude, ugly as hell to watch - I think that about covers it.He's so predictable in his style: stalking his opponent and only rushing forward to attack once he's near the ropes or the corner. He showed some improvement in the Ramirez fight, moving on the backfoot, picking his shots and boxing effectively, but he's taken several steps back since then.
He's a very weak champion, and once he steps in there with somebody capable he's going to lose and do so in dramatic fashion.Somebody like Denis Lebedev,a guy with heavy hands, very good workrate, who brings smart pressure is capable of really causing him some serious damage.Comment

he is very telegraphic, he swings his punches a lot, he doesn't walk his way in using his jab, and he is happy-elbows, he elbows the s h i t out of his opponents
in fact, he reminds me a bit of AA, fights through explosions of wide looping shots (although AA is a better fighter)
what's most sad about his kind of style is that he is somewhat successful using it, his awkwardness and crazy aggressivity pose some problems even to good boxers like USSLast edited by Tiozzo; 10-14-2010, 07:07 PM.Comment
