Why Maddalone? Adamek has already fought better heavyweights, he should try to get better opposition before a K-Bro, is heavyweight really this weak? All credit to Tomasz tho, he is a true warrior and he stays busy. I see a stoppage however, not a KO.

this is a smart move, to have adamek fight someone bigger than him who he will most likely ko or just Tee off on and make him look like a beast, and the announcers will most likely champion him and pay lip service to the fact that it's a fluff fight. the fact that it's a fluff fight is fine, it's obvious after the grant fight, they really wanted him to ko grant and he didn't get it, so now this is sort of damage control although his stock still rose a bit because it was a win over a bigger guy.

the issue here and the blatant obviousness in this match up which makes any and all astute boxing fans call shenanigans is that it's vinnie maddalone. i have no beef with maddalone, the guy is an exciting c level fighter with a ton of heart and uses his face for his defense, it's just adamek skill wise is superman leaps and bounds better than maddalone. they could've chosen a closer skilled fighter and still get the results that their looking for, but they might as well just name the fight card, " this is a B*ll**** match up, enjoy ".

maddalone has a punchers chance, i'm not going to deny a heavyweights chance at being able to get a ko, i just don't think he will be able to land cleanly on adamek and wont be able to handle adameks experience, let alone his momentum coming into this fight.

no one should be thinking after adamek fights maddalone with a highly probable ko, is he ready to fight either of the klitschko's or haye, at least not yet with haye, but certainly not the klits at this point. maddalone isnt going to prepare him for what he needs before fighting those kats. also adamek risks getting cut or some kind of injury in a fight like this, with no real payday or reward behind it, not worth it if you ask me for the pole.

i would rattle off a few names of who i think adamek should fight other than maddalone or guys on that level, i just dont' follow or even care to look who is in the HW division worth it for adamek or not........ so maybe they got the next best thing, i dunno, i just know adameks skill is far superior to good ole maddys......
