well both were verry impresive on their prime but im going with chavez on this one the guy was simply amazing, and he also was a good puncher, slugger, had a great chin, and always gave his best on his earlier fights. he just stayed in the ring a lil too long

Hagler, bigger name. When people think of great Middleweight's, the first one that comes to mind is Hagler.. Hagler, Hagler, Hagler.

Chavez was the bigger legend and name (his undefeated streak, record, and actual name just made him a god to some fans). Hagler was the better fighter by a slight margin.

I love to see both of these guys fight, and they both have "legendary" names, but when it comes to naming a true legend, I would have to say that JCC's name will forever be etched in our minds and hearts. I say this, taking nothing away from Marvelous, but, JCC took a country by storm. He did more for his country than any ambassador. They should put his face on the flag.

Yes I agree, also Hagler is a way bigger name in the world then Chavez. You see JuyJuy we do agree on many things, lets not forget Lewis, Louis & Tyson. A few more names but I don't want to piss people off.
