In your HONEST opinion, do you think there is ANY way Arum lets Margarito win?

i def dont think that Arum signed marg up to win this fight. actually, i feel marg is paid to lose this fight but marg strikes me as the type that wont be played for a sucker and will spoil plans. he doesnt seem to be anyones fall guy.

i def dont think that Arum wanted or thought marg was going beat cotto.

What it boils down to though, is this: At this juncture, who is more marketable, Manny Pacquiao or Tony Margarito? Manny is, and that's why Tony isn't coming to fight. End of story.

So the same MUST apply to Floyd. Arum was Floyd's promoter for like 10 years.

Since Floyd was his MOST MARKETABLE BOXER THEN ALL HIS FIGHTS MUST BE FIXED. Right?

                END OF STORY!!!

He dont have to he already paid him to not go for it , Margo got slaughtered he knows where he is in the pecking order this is the biggest pay he will ever get , Margo will clam up he will not be super aggressive and try and win , he will clam up and go 12 rounds and look like a plodder , and people will say oh he was a plodder when Mosley beat the **** out of him ,,, the fix is on and it will be more standout than Clottey because Margo is a super aggressive much bigger opponenet , now if clams up and dont go for Pac like his life depended on it , because his boxing life does , if that happenens it was fixed .

Honestly a Margarito win would be the best thing for Top Rank.

Lets face the fact that Floyd vs Manny will never happen. So if Manny beats Tony....well there aren't a lot of fights that can be made in which Arum can do huge PPV numbers.

Hypothetically...lets say Margarito wins. What that does is make several big money fights. First of all the rematch against Manny vs Margarito would be huge...especially if they did it Cinco De Mayo weekend next year. The Mexican boxing community is dying for a huge draw right now....and by Tony knocking off the man labeled as the Mexicutioner, so many Mexican boxing fans would rally behind Tony.

Pac vs Manny rematch would easily do over 1.5 million buys. Also a Cotto vs Margarito II bout would be huge as well. Another scenario is if Martinez gets past Williams, then Martinez vs Margarito would be a huge fight as well.

Honestly when you use common sense.....then you realize that Top Rank has more to gain by Margarito winning than they do Pacquiao winning.
