    Most memorable cornerwork?

Trivial, maybe, but what's the most memorable cornermen/cornerwork you've ever seen?

I'd probably say Burgess Meredith telling his fighters to "crap thunder" but then I remind myself that it's fictional.

However, whatever his faults, John Ruiz's cornerman is a LEGEND. They should hype up Ruiz's fights on that alone.

Any more come to mind? Tarver's guy Buddy McGirt always gives it some ("LISTEN TO ME Antonio!") and I remember Ali smacking Drew Bundini Brown after he got too close after the second Norton fight.

There was an amusing signature quote on here recently, I believe attributed to Willie Pep, that was something along the lines of "Do you know where you are?" "Yeah - I'm in Madison Square Garden getting the **** knocked out of me."

Then there was the disastrous "everyone panic and scream at once" cornermen for Danny Williams in the Klitschko fight. (Can't remember his name off hand - Sterling someone? - was a late replacement for someone who couldn't get a flight over)

    Any more?

I seriously loved the cornerman in the Tyson-Botha fight. Now that was seriously funny. I couldnt pay love nor money for the spectacle that was the Botha corner. they acted like a bunch of kindergarten kids but it was ****ing hilarious when i was watching it.

                But hey..

I get the feeling you don't like Hopkins very much.

One of Rid**** Bowe's cornermen running across the ring and clocking Andrew Golota with a walkie talkie was golden.
