you are a gambler, these tips seem useless, there is nothing in these tips, boxing is something you learn from years of experience,i suggest you start watching fights and get the feel for the fighters,as time progresses you will start to blearn and see what the boxing game is a ll about

What kind of information do I need to look at when analysing a match, is past results the key really?

dont know enough about the fighters in the 2 fights talked about, apart from Arthur is very beatable (ie not very good).

1st thing to look for is who is the promoter of the fight (and which fighter he promotes, or if he promotes both, which one makes him more money/has a better looking future).

After that its about looking at strengths, weaknesses and styles of the 2 fighters. A lot of people on here rate a youtube guy called Dwyer for betting tips. He has a website too. Ive only watched a few of his videos but he breaks down a fight quite well. He also has an online book with betting advise for boxing (I read the first few chapters, he seemed to be talking sense). He makes a video about most upcoming world title fights. Check him out if u dont wanna watch loads of footage of fighters before placing a bet. Although i would reccomend watching the fighters before betting on them and making up your own mind.

bro, how about just watch more boxing

hold off on the betting until you have a better knowledge of the sport.

but just remember: styles make fights

just because Cotto > Mosley, and Margarito > Cotto

does not mean Margarito beats Mosley.

and look up dwyer's ******** advise thing on youtube,

he has some pretty good analysis of fights (although he isn't always correct)

The main factors to analyze are each fighters styles, strengths, and weaknesses. From there, you have your base on speculating who will dictate where the fight is fought, who will dictate the pace, who will be able to exploit the others weakness better, who will be able to use their strengths better, who will be more vulnerable to the others strength, etc.

Moreso than the result, what matters is what happened during that fight and how will they use it against their upcoming opponent.

Follow bahay kubo's and gingeralbino's advice and refrain from betting on fighter fighting in someone elses backyard, unless you're sure he's getting a KO.

Thanks for all your help, on the website I used before it has the Klitschko vs Briggs match which reading seems to be one sided, does anyone give him a chance, as i have never heard of Briggs. It mentions going over 7.5 rounds as a tip, as Briggs hasn't been stopped since Lewis, but is Klitschko better than lewis?

Klit will win by KO, probably rds 8-10 imo. Klitschkos can usually dominate their opponents, but dont usually KO them until late on after wearing them down. Vitali is a bit more agressive than Wlad, but he's showing his age more.

Briggs has close to 0 chance of winning imo. He cant KO Vitali, or outbox him.
