    if antonio margarito was a GBP fighter...

    Would Mayweather have fought margarito when they were the top 2 WW back in late 07 early 08??

        yeah easily if your not closed minded theres a youtube vid with a lot of bob arum quotes that really deconstruct the floyd ducking myths. alot of it has to do with business politics and there really wasnt even hatred involved but floyd did get more money for fighting baldomir arum said it himself in an interview in early 07

              obviously not. he was offered 8 million which was a career high payday at the time to fight margarito and rejected it to find something else. the baldomir offer of 8 million only came after he turned down margarito. when you factor that in with the fake retiring to avoid top fighters it's clear he never would have fought him cause he's too dangerous.

                they don't deconstruct them they just prove his guilt even more. he turned down a career high 8 million payday to avoid margarito when he had no guarantee if he would even make that much for his next fight. he wanted 10 million to fight cotto who was still at 140! then when cotto moved up to welterweight and would have made floyd much more than 10 million he refused to fight him.
