why would they fight you if you bring nothing to the table?all of those fighters were interested in fighting the best and margo was not the best that is obviously why shane didn't want to fight him but once margo was considered the best ww shane wanted the fight.if shane was scared of margo in 06 what changed a couple of years later that shane all of a sudden was not scared of margarito?

If you knew what you think you know. On that same ESPN article Floyd was offer 8mil to fight Marg in August. He could of taken that bought out his contract and then fight Baldomir in November.

Winky also turned down 4 or 5mil to fight Marg around the time. Because, he wanted the 8mil that was guaranteed to Floyd. But, you already knew that right?

floyd fought shane and manny didn't spo what is your point and can you please post a link from anyone in team cotto ever mentioning a fight with mayweather because floyd is the only when that tried to make that fight happen but arum said miguel wasn't ready for floyd

At the same time, Cotto wouldn't have lasted as long as he did. Which means, Cotto probably never becomes 1 of the top WWs.

2 major differences between GBP and Arum.... Arum shelters fighters for as long as possible. GBP has a knack for throwing their fighters into the lion's den a bit too quickly.

Well it would certainly remove one of the biggest road blocks to it heappeaning.

If it leads to a fight during that time frame I don't know because Floyd was talking about a vacation for a minute and had just made a mint of Hatton and Oscar.

It could have gone either way at that pont because Cotto was probably a more appealing option than an Oscar rematch but if Floyd turned down easy money at that point why would a take a tougher fight.

If Cotto was a GBP fighter I think they would have fought at some point over the last couple years, or would even be setting up to face each other now.
