And Lol @ Margarito being more of an interest than Baldomir when Baldomir had a 20 fight win streak during 1999-2006 and people were calling him a legit threat to Mayweather and that he was going to KTFO Floyd. That Margarito bull**** started as soon after Mayweather beat Judah and bought his contract out with Top Rank to chase bigger pay days. Only "hardcore fans"[or hardcore Floyd haters] believe that dumb ass smear campaign.
    Right, Kev right.

    You really being unbiased.

Just say that you didn't really follow the WW division back then. Is cool....

True, but people were gonna buy that regardless. I mean, we're talkin' about Morales having a chance to go 2-1 against Pacquiao.

When people say Floyd ducked such and such it should be taken with a grain of salt. Fights don't get made over night and the two people he supposedly ducked were under top rank at the time, which is the main reason margarito/Cotto fights never got made. I mean Cotto didn't even rise to the top @ 147 untill just before Floyd fought Hatton. Floyd had already gone on record he would retire after the bout long before Cotto beat Mosley.
The only 2 fighters that I felt Floyd truly avoided through out his career. Are Johnston and Margarito, everybody else IMO is eh, I don't really see it but depends where you side on.

I wont throw stones at Mayweather, because as you said it wasnt his fault.

But the fact is baldomir just got KO by saul. And Judah its not even on the radar of the elites.
IF Baldomir and Judah were the best fighters Mayweather had fought you may have a point.. however you don't as i can name 6 or 7 fighters better then them on his resume.

Bringing up Baldo being Koed by Saul 4-5 years on from fighting Mayweather hurts your point aswell. You never know about Judah either he could do something back down at 140

I have no doubt in my mind that Floyd-Margarito would have done more PPV's than Floyd-Baldomir did.

Floyd-Marg would have broken 400k, Marg had a fanbase Baldomir had none.
do you think people on the eastcoast was gonna pay to see floyd fight someone they didn't know?i doubt it. so i doubt a ppv with margarito would of done that much.where was the margarito fan base before arum started floyd was avoiding margarito? if he had such a fanbase than he would of been more recognizerd at the time but he wasn't no one on the eastcoast knew who he was but they did know who hatton was because hatton had a large fanbase

ummmm no. I say Santos beat Baldomir, and to add to that Margarito beat top class boxers, you cant say the same for Baldomir. Margarito a above journeyman? its just a no.

how can the best boxer in the world duick a nobody?you have to be somebody and bring something to the table to fight the best and margarito had nothing to offer at the time and then went on to lose to williams which ****ed up his chances even more of fighting floyd mayweather

                    Lol.

******s will always be ******s. They will make claims of how this fighter is the best fight for Floyd then deny deny deny after Floyd beats them. The ancestors are just as ******. Making dumbass threads of who Floyd is afraid of like they know ****.

I mean, did I not see a thread bumped the other and a post of yours in that thread talking really confident about how Floyd is not going to fight Mosley in May 2010? How he's going to duck him? Did I not see that? Lol.

I understand you don't like Floyd but let's not start saying that I didn't follow the WW division just because i'm not on the same side as you. If I was on your side I would always be wrong.

Lol, Floyd doesn't want to fight Top Rank fighters=Ducker!

As in Cotto and eh Cintron (more a prospect at the time)?

Also it's widely thought that he may have been wrapped up vs Cotto, but we don't know.

He lost to Williams and got fricken destroyed by Mosley.. if he had fought the likes of Winky, Vargas, Forrest.. same would have happened. The comment is spot on Margarito is slightly above the level of Baldomir.
