And real talk about Marquez being smaller than all these guys but pac couldnt KO him but Kos bigger guys. Real talk
Its Oscar DelaHoya that has control over the licensing of Margarito.

Earlier this year, Oscar had Texas deny Margarito a license, and now 6 months later Oscar had Texas grant Margarito his license.

Oscar, is basically running the California Boxing Commission right now, because he had his friend, Governor Arnold "Scwhartzennegger" replace the boxing officials, with new offcicials that were handpicked by Oscar.

Oscar BRIBED Margarito to "throw" the fight with Pac, and promised him that he'll get licensed in CA, and Nevada next year and thereafter.

I dont know how much (more extra) money Oscar bribed Margaroto (under the table) with.

Since Oscar co-promotes Pac (through Arum), and gets a percentage from Arum's 30% take of Pac's purses, its become clearly apparent that Oscar has a strong, greedy, financial interest in Pac's fights, and will do just about anything to make as much from pac's fights, such as FIGHT FIXING.

    DelaHoya-Pacquiao was FIXED.
    Pacquiao-Clottey was FIXED.

and now, Pacquiao-Margarito will be another FIXED FIGHT.

yet, Oscar wants Totalitarian control of boxing, and wants to monopolize boxing by becoming the only promoter/controler of boxing.

Why can't people understand that Pac was probably malnourished early in his career? He surely didn't have world class trainers/nutritionists/conditioning coaches he has today. Early in his career, the man sold stolen cigarettes, for god's sake!

And I believe Pacquiao was killing himself to make his last 2 fights at 130.

i mean training really hard everyday til fight night? and then finding out that youre opponent gets paid to lose? ID get pissed. (briggs vs green)

i sure as hell hope this isnt one of them fights.
and i still have my SUSPISIONS that mayweather vs mosley is fixed. just look at round 2 and how mosley suddennly starts "sucking" after that punch.
I would train my ass off for the 10 plus million he will receive for this fight, sht put me up against a man of equal strength and i would fight him to the death for that type of money.

That was a great call.....he didn't just say he thought Mosley would win....he actually said Shane would whoop his ass...he would put a beating on him.

Hey blackie, white hope? how about Floyd catchweight fight with JMM? He asked him to come on his comfortable zone then cheated the old man at the scale. Which catchweight is worse Floyd or Pac?

That was a weak pick for Mayweather, but it is also against the same fighter who beat Pacs ass twice in my eyes, with that being said both are cherry picking to the point where they should lose there top p4p status.

hatton was going to sleep with that shot from pacquiao no matter who threw it. wouldn't have mattered what weight or who threw it. the punch was clean and he basically walked right into it. 140, 147, 154, 135 even, sleepy time for hatton on that one.

also, i said the same thing about the rehydration, punches effect people WAY DIFFERENTLY when they're water and weight drained. the WILL to fight is there but the body can't handle the shots the same as being hydrated and doesn't respond the same, making it exetremly tough for a fighter to be competitive on the highest level of competition in his current fighting weight class, be it catchweight or not.

now, i will say this, which roger failed to acknowledge, and that is pacquiao did exactly what you want your fighter to do when and if he has an edge over his competition, and that is to finish them either by tko, ko, or making someone throw in the towel, not drag the fight on, OR be unable to close out the other fighter, when one fighter has all advantages over the other lesser opponent. thats just a fact, you want your fighter to take the other guy out when the other guy can't or isnt' able to be competitive or is at a disadvantage.

fights are won in the negotiations, if a contract is agreed upon, then there is no controversy, hence, if the contract is signed with the catch weight provision attached, then the professional honors the contract and his obligations having full disclosure of his duties to execute the contract, thats the deal with the devil they made, can't really say anyone took anyone else for a ride, they hopped on and said "**** it!, where do i sign? when can i cash this money check?"

so thats my sympathy slant towards that: there is an andvantage, fighters agreed, contract are signed, both fighters make contracted weight, you want your fighter to go in and take out disadvantaged fighter, cash check, repeat process.

if "they're" willing to sign = no controversy on weight classes or contract stipulations.............. done deal.
