Difference is Shane was dumbfounded, befuddled, or whatever other pejorative you'd like to use, by Floyd's skills and experience.

Ask Bob Arum and Freddie Roach who gave Shane a good chance to beat Floyd and who among many others didn't think Floyd would fight.

    But say what you like.

When Mosley fought Mora, Mosley could have beaten any other Light Middleweight other than Mora.... lol!

Mosley is no longer in his prime and is 39 years old. You can't expect him to perform as well as he did in his prime. I also hate the fact that he also took PEDs.

So who knows how far he came down from his best.

His future chances will depend on the opponents style.

I'm neither happy that pac is facing margarito, nor am I happy that it's for the WBC 154 lbs belt. margarito is a disgrace. also, neither marg nor pac has done jack***** to get in contention for a 154 lbs belt. But how can I get mad at pac when Arum is the one calling the shots and how can I get mad at pac for the WBC sanctioning the fight for it's 154 lbs strap???? that's ****in asinine.

fighting at a catchweight of 150 lbs is fine, considering that margarito is a career WW. you can't weight drain a WW at 150 lbs.

And Cotto beat Shane, who was destroyed by Manny. What is your point? Triangle theories mean nothing in boxing.

If Pac was cherrypicking, he wouldn't be fighting a guy known for his aggressive, bruising style, with a great chin, who will have 1/2 foot height advantage, 7" reach advantage, fighting at a higher weight, where his opponent will come in at 160-162 (according to Garcia). He would pick a smaller featherweight, blow him up and come in overweight.

if you ignore the news coming out of the pacquiao camp, based on their last 2 fights, pac should KO margarito under 8-10 rounds.

HOWEVER, you have to give some lip service to the news coming out of the pacquiao camp. this training camp seems a lot tougher than previous training camps based on the fact that pac is now sparring with MWs and super MWs and the fact that pac is now a congressman, not to mention that it's gotta be a huge letdown to go from a potential mayweather fight to fighting a disgraced boxer.

if these reports are true, and if margarito returns to form, it could go 12 rounds in a bruising and foty type war. unless margarito drops pac a few times, pac will win because he's the bigger star and the fight with mayweather is still on the table.

              Yeah.
I think it wll be tough for Margarito to land his uppercuts on pacquiao, beacause of his latteral movement and the height differential. I feel that margarito needs his oponent stood still to connect anyting meaningful, therefore if pacquiao decided to stand n trade, he may be in trouble. Wereas if pacquiao uses his foot speed and uses angles, then he will catch margario alot easier.

Iv gt Pacquiao by TKO 11th

I should add, I feel prime for prime Mayweather is still a better fighter, but those shots Floyd took in rd to, if they were against prime Mosley. Could be a different story right now.
Shane was gasping for breath by the 4th or 5th round against Mora, there's no doubt that he's shot..

It's just frustrating how people refuse to see what's going on in front of their eyes.

You have to match a prime Shane with a prime Floyd.

Shane was not motivated for Mora like he was against AM and Floyd.

floyd would beat cotto, no doubt about that

but at least cotto, being younger & prime, would not make the fight more one-sided
