At the end of the day MANNY destroyed two times BARRERA,two times MORALES,killed HATTON and humiliated COTTO,now he's fighting MARGARITO and they want to put him in the ring vs PAUL WILLIAMS in the future!!!

I know this doesn't have anything to do with boxing, but since Michael Marley quotes what Arum said in his article I thought I would clear some things up!!!
Senile Arum says that in "1957 La Habana(Havana) was the most magnificent city in Latin America"..Well maybe cause back then La Habana was what Las Vegas is today, except La Habana was grimier...That was during the Batista era & at that time there was a lot of segregation going on in Cuba & ONLY caucasian's were allowed in the casino's or clubs(that were mostly american owned) & the only blacks allowed were the musicians & in that era more than 60% of the Cubans were illiterate & more than 70% were unemployed & there was a lot homeless people in La Habana & threw out the rest of Cuba & there were a lot people dieing because of the lack of medical treatment....That's the magnificent city Arum is talking about!! & that's not true that religion was banned from Cuba cause I know many people that came in the early 80's(known as Marielito's) & most of them were devoted catholic's & told Me there Churches in Cuba that held regular sermons just like everywhere else..
It's true that Fidel Castro ran Cuba with a iron fist & many people are denied the freedom to do things they SHOULD BE ALLOWED & would be if they were somewhere else..But like everything it has it's pros & cons..The PROS are that ever since Fidel took charge EVERYONE(Balcks, white & mulatos)are treated EQUALLY & Cuba's educational system is now the ENVY of the western hemisphere & most of the WORLD(Example; the education of 3rd grade level kids in Cuba are the equivalent of a 9th grade level student in the u.s) & education(University's, trade schools ect) is FREE in Cuba & by LAW everyone in Cuba has to have a home, no matter how humble it may be, but at least they are NOT HOMELESS SLEEPING IN THE STREETS!!! & in Cuba ever since Fidel took over they have had the UNIVERSAL medical system(which means ALL medical treatment is FREE! which is the way it SHOULD BE EVERYWHERE!!!) & their Medical system & Doctors are TOP NOTCH!!!
Now the CONS many people here(Puerto Rico) & the u.s. already know cause that's all they are told & taught when it comes to talking about Castro & Cuba..But most of the time the story is exaggerated or not told exactly how it is & they never mention the Batista era, which was WAY WORST THAN CASTRO'S!!!!!Comment
