I really don't care, but I can't think of another fighter anywhere around 147 that would have taken those 2 shots from Mosley & straight boss up on him right after!!Quite frankly, after the 1st huge shot,I thought Floyd was done,he impressed me!!

It doesnt change the fact, that its not the same Mosley, this what the thread is for. People bumping threads, here and there, saying that its the same Mosley that beat the crap of Margarito. But its not, its far from that Mosley. Basically Mayweather needed the help of a earthquake for him to beat Mosley.

Okay, for arguments sake lets just say Mosley was over trained... how the **** is that Floyds fault? Floyd signed the fight in January... it was happening in May, thats 4 months to get ready for the fight... Shane over training was down to what happened in his camp not Floyd... thats if you wanna say he was over trained.

So Mayweather signed to fight Mosley, knowing full well that Shanes camp isn't gonna go perfect and they are gonna over train him?

Give credit were credit is due, your the one whos trying to twist things, people were *****ing like anything, there was threads of people saying "Floyd wont fight a real WW, he will wiggle his way out of this fight somehow" and then when it was signed said "I give Floyd no credit, he signed the fight because he had too" once he beat him and in some of their cases a week before the fight they started saying Mosley was some sort of bum to save face... their the ones whos putting a spin on things.

Im not saying the fight meant anything... im saying, he came back and in his first fight he didn't fight Manny, he wanted to shake off ring rust, people were bashing him saying "he keeps in shape all year round, he wont have ring rust" and that hes officially ducked Manny at that point.

Then when Floyd beats Shane a guy with a shorter layoff, they use it as an excuse... its double standards. The JMM win was only a good name on his record, it didn't mean anything probably not even to him he just wanted to shave off ring rust.

But the people who were claiming that he was ducking Mosley at the time and would never fight him and some of the people who were saying Mosley was going to beat the **** out of Floyd shouldn't really be saying that Shane was over the hill. It just shows that he cant win with them.

Just like with the JMM issue, the fight didn't mean anything and Floyd was heavy favorite, but there was a FEW (very few fair enough) that the days coming up to the fight said JMM was gonna beat him, then days after the fight used the typical excuses, and I am not talking things on fight night that could be taken into consideration (e.g. being drained, etc.) im talking about the typical things they were disregarding before the fight.

                      Mosley's BEEN done.
I don't think Mosley being "overtrained" was a bigger factor than Mosley being just old as f**K.

Mosley's shot. He was coming off a 16-month layoff and approaching 40 years old. He did the best he could....which was catch Floyd with a darn good overhand right.

After Floyd adapted easily, Mosley was absolutely lost and had no chance.
