He's a bit more cautious now, & doesn't sit down on his shots like he once did.

You forget that Golota got down to 236 pounds for the Byrd fight!!! That is the lightest I can ever remember him fighting at!!! I recently read in an interview that he is gonna come into this fight heavier for obvious reason!!! They said he was at 242 or 3 right now!!!

We need Golota to win. We need a new champion who will at least fight instead of trying to hug his opponent all the time.

(I would support any fighter against John Ruiz, i am still shocked he managed to stop Fres Quendo)

Here is hoping that Golota is able to overcome his personal demons and rid us of one of boxing's great annoyances. All of Golota's crimes against the sport will be pardoned.

Golota DOES have the strength and skill to do it.

Golota would be forgiven if he beats John Ruiz legally. Hopefully each time John Ruiz trys to tie him up he lets his hands go and punches in flurries to score points. I can see this going the distance as both fighters are not exceptional punchers. If Golota fights like he did against Byrd then hopefully he does enough to win down the line.

Ruiz needs his refs in there to win. His refs allow him to hold on and jerk-off his opponent all night long and then squeeze out a late decision or he literally put's his opponent to sleep and then hit's him with a right and knocks him down as was the case with Fres Oquendo. Why do you think that loudmouth ****wad stoney was so insense after the Roy Jones fight, because the ref did not allow ****boy Ruiz to jerk-off Roy in the fight.

                Realheavy....

Tim Witherspoon had an excellent chin. Anyone who remembers him from his better days will attest to that.

I agree. He was fat and unmotivated..but had a good chin.

It's a shame because he could fight his ass off.
