I wanna take some time out to show some love to a TRUE warrior in boxing that no one appreciates around here..

GLEN JOHNSON

He fights anyone and everyone!!!! He has 14 losses but always keeps coming back to fight TOP competition..!! He doesn't care if he wins or loses he just enjoys being in the ring and fighting...

All Johnson does is fight the biggest, baddest men he can face. Boxing needs more like him.

“I love boxing, I really do,” said Johnson, who is 50-14-2 with 34 knockouts. “The business part of it, some of the people in boxing, that makes it a bit painful, but I truly love the sport, the competition. I love that I get paid for it, but I would do it even if I weren’t, just for the exercise and the competition.


“I haven’t had some of the breaks that a lot of the big names have had, but I have tried to make my reputation by giving people their money’s worth every time. I can’t promise if I will win or lose, but I can promise that if you come to watch Glen Johnson fight, you’ll see me give you everything I have while I’m in there.”

Absolutely True.. I wish all fighters had the same appreciation that Glen Johnson does... Boxing would be more than great.. i mean seriously.. who gives a damn about a undefeated record? All i care for is great fights between great fighters.. I love watching Glen Jonson because i know he will go in there and give it 100% WIN OR LOSE!! I guess the only thing you could bash him for is not showing good sportsmanship when a decision doesn't go his way. A lot of people have that opinion about him. But I half ass understand because it's often a rigged scorecard or two that goes against him if not all like in the fights against Dawson and Cloud.

True.. but can you blame him.. Seems like the only way he can win a big fight is if he knocks someone out.. Both those fights were much closer than 112-116..
