Cruiserweight prospect Ryan Coyne (16-0 6 KOs) kept his undefeated record intact by destroying the overmatched Shane Steele (7-3) by way of a 2nd round knockout on Saturday night as the main event at the Dwight Davis Center in St. Louis. Coyne described the fight as a stay busy fight and is looking to step up the level of competition on the undercard to the junior welterweight unification between Devon Alexander and Timothy Bradley on January 29th.
