Yea chico heart was second to none , a great fighter gone before his time
And that was the 1st fight with castillo where he got up twice off the canvas in the 10th to stop him minutes later.

[Who are you?]

I started watching boxing around year 2000, when I was about 11 years old. Now I am 21, so its hard for me to take note of boxers before the 1990's. Keep that in mind.


My Fav Boxer of all time (No Order)

- Kostya Tszyu (very much underrated, this guy was a brilliant technical boxer with amazing power in his prime. a true example of the "boxer-puncher" style)

- Andrew Golota (not sure if this guy is officially retired or not, but he did have some good power. and he was so hilarious! quitting againts Mike Tyson, impersonating a police officer in Chicago, and getting into nightclub fights in Poland. This guy was awesome)

- Mike Tyson (just an explosive dude, amazing fighter in his day and his interviews are priceless. how can anyone be a boxing fan and not appreciate Iron Mike?)

- Arturo Gatti (Canadian fighter, so much heart, his fights with Ward were legendary. Amazing fighter in his day brought the excitement every time he fought)

- Joe Calzaghe (Best Super Middleweight of alltime, and in my opinion, one of the best technicians of alltime. Guy was unbeatable in his day. His win over Byron Mitchell is what caught me on to him. Subsequent thrashings of Lacy, Kessler, BHOP were great wins as well)

- Lennox Lewis (Lennox is such a classy, respectable guy. Always had a bit of a chin problem, but his right hand was amazing and he was very underrated. Great fighter, one of my faves)

- Fernando Vargas (I remember his megafight with Oscar DLH back in 2003, I was cheering for Fernando to win and after the first 4 rds it seemed like he was. It was a great ride anyway, Fernando)

Mikkel Kessler (guy has always been overrated, and for some reason people just never give up on this guy. its embarrassing)

Andre Ward (in my opinion one of the most overrated fighters out there today. has no power whatsoever. decent to good boxing skills. certainly not in a P4P sense. Bute will annihilate this guy and Im even thinking Abra may KO this dude)

Devon Alexander (overrated)

Robert Helenius (just not my style, I admit he's an alright fighter, but not my style and something about him isnt adding up)

BHOP (retire already man, your fights are disabling to watch)

Vic Ortiz (once a quitter always a quitter, this guy will not go far in his career trust that)
