Lolz... it actually is an avenue for more dollars for Arum if Pacquiao lost to Margarito. It could set-up Pacquiao-Margarito Rematch or for a possible trilogy and more fights will happen. lolz to conspiracists...Comment

and u must be a blind biased pacfan to think pacman cant lose, he got all busted up in his last 2 fights against guys margarito already beat, smaller, and on top of that dont have anywhere near the aggression or output margs has, pac wont run forever he will mix it up, and he does back up easily when someone stands their ground and returns fire like the morales fight. pac can very well lose this fight.Comment

Margarcheato size will definitely make a difference in the fight but i believe Pacman's speed and footwork will help him get the win.Comment

I had an arguement with Ishe Smith about that 4-5 years ago
But you are correct, Margarito will not turn into a speed machine during this camp.
Speed training does work, but only to a certain extent, you cannot turn a plodder into a speed demon.
We are still really only learning about this subject, but I have even heard it suggested that human skeletal muscle may switch fiber types from "fast" to "slow" due to specific types of target training.
Human beings, on average, are born with approximately 50% slow twitch, 50% fast twitch, but sprinters when tested are 80% fast, and marathon runners 80% slow.
Roy Jones insists that chasing chickens is the way to go
I personally believe that an active energetic kid who chased chickenswould be much more more likely to develop into a sprinter/athlete, whereas a quieter more subdued kid who watched TV would be more inclined to either not be athletic, or to look at something like distance running.
It's not that the kid who sits on the couch is necessarily born slower, he just doesnt develop the same.Comment

Margo is better than i wish him to be. with or without the plaster he can take a beating. how much is left? i dont know, but in a way i dont really care to see him get whooped. i actually want to see him take the fight to Manny and shocked the boxing world.Comment
