  • HBO Needs to get off Andre Berto's Nuts MUST READ!!!

    http://www.*************.com/headlin...scrub-in-2011/

The Bergen Record of New Jersey reported in Friday’s edition that HBO is going to pay Andre Berto the sum of $1.25 million to fight a guy named Freddy Hernandez which will be part of a November 27 HBO triple-header. The column by Keith Idec also states that “other boxers have opened HBO’s Boxing After Dark triple-headers for five-figures” and questions why HBO would pay Berto “seven-figures”?

Of course, Idec suggests the fact that Berto is advised by Al Haymon probably has something to do with it.

With HBO’s history of catering to the interests of Haymon, one might suspect that HBO might actually back off of it’s previous demands to produce Pacquiao vs. Mayweather for May of 2011, which obviously is not at all in the interests of Mayweather, who keeps creating new obstacles to block the fight everyone wants to see.

It’s becoming conceivable that Haymon and Mayweather could manipulate HBO to actually ignore making the biggest fight in boxing history a glorious reality.

If HBO is willing to overpay and reward one Haymon fighter (Berto) for a handpicked “fight”, it certainly seems plausible that HBO would show a consistent, overly generous hand to another Haymon fighter (Mayweather) who has made his career out of handpicking.

George Peterson told us last year that Pacquiao vs. Mayweather “isn’t gonna happen. Some fights aren’t meant to be made.”

Every day it’s looking more and more like George Peterson was 100% right.

Why is HBO even catering to Haymon in the first place? What does he have on them? He couldn't convince his most high profile client to return from 'vacation' to sign on for the most lucrative fight ever. It took him forever to get Paul Williams to sign the contract for the Martinez rematch. He advised Berto to price himself out of a Shane Mosley fight... and now Andre and Haymon are making bank to fight some random dude?

He must have nudes of Greenburg or one of the other execs.

berto is kinda a big name, he was supposed to fight mosley in january before the earthquake in haiti and then mosley fought mayweather who is currently the biggest ppv draw in boxing

as long as this "freddy hernandez" guy is a worthy opponent, 1.25 mill doesnt seem too bad for a undefeated top 5 welterweight in the world

haymon has HBO by the balls because he advises Wifebeater jr. HBO, like Arum, poured a ***** load of cash into floyd, only to have wifebeater choke them and slap their faces.

HBO needs to stand up to their abuser and tell haymon to take his boxers to go bukkakke him. look, pwill and berto can't draw flies to ****. dirrell ain't selling out the state fair either.

The only guy in haymon's stable that makes any money or gets any rating for HBO is Wifebeater jr and once wifebeater retires for good, we will be rid of this cancer callled al haymon.

Also, greenburg has a hard on for berto. greenburg should just sex berto's vagina already and stop ****in around with all the foreplay.

berto couldn't sell out his back yard. he is not a draw and the only reason people watch him is because he's on HBO.

his fights suck. he's a runner and a hugger.
