the guy fights like bhop. he leads with his head. he holds and hits.

ward also has good athleticism... good hand and foot speed, but it isn't on the level of say, a RJJ.

the head butting stuff is way over done on this board. Against Kessler a solid head butt didn't even land until about the 7th round and he was WHOOPING kessler every second of every round prior with his skills, not his head.

I don't think anyone really fears him but if they do it's because he's a good fighter, and nothing more.

There are lots of guys that lead with their head that's just part of boxing. Ward isn't a dirty fighter, nor is hopkins but they know how to get rough and physical when they have to. The key thing here is versatility. Both hopkins & ward never fight the same, they have specific game plans for specific opponents and they can mix it up. That's key.

Nah. He landed butts from round 2 or 3. He would have won without them though.



Topic: I doubt anybody is afraid of Ward. Why would they be? They are fighters man.
