if bradley and alexander both decide to counterpunch, expect a long boring fight.

if bradley counterpunches, and alexander pressures, you get bradley by decision.

if bradley pressures and alexander counterpunches, you get alexander by decision or stoppage.

if bradley and alexander stand toe to toe, you get a FOTY type fight.
Alexander does what well??He has no head movement,he shoots his jab from too far out and grunts before punching..If anything I say he does alot of things wrong..Bradley has way better timing and movement then Alexander and can fight going forward or backward..I expect a great boxing match in which Bradley will pull it out and Devon gets his first lost, but he will put his heart out there and make fans along the way...

Has a venue location been announced yet? I haven't heard of one yet, but I could be wrong. If not, you may have to add that to the list ("Fight cancelled due to disagreement over venue location"). One thing for sure, Devon's chances go up if it's in St. Louis - however, I can't see Bradley EVER agreeing to that. And, no way does Cunningham allow it to be in Bradley's backyard.

I agree, and some keep saying Abregu was unrated. Even HBO commentators announced before the fight that Abregu was ranked #5 by several organizations. They also overlook that Abregu was a career welterweight (and Bradley was moving up from lt. welterweight), who was undefeated with a high percentage knockout ratio (29w/23KO), with both a height and reach advantage. Abregu was nothing to sneeze at (esp. for Bradleys first fight at 147)

Yet, according to Kahn, Maidana will be tougher and is BETTER than both Bradley and Alexander. He says he is "taking on #1 straight away" (in fighting Maidana).
These words are from Kahn's own mouth. Can't make that stuff up.

Pretty sure I read somewhere saying they are doing a 30 minute countdown, should be good.

                Good post, and I agree.
If Cunningham has any worth, he will be working like a mad dog trying to improve Devon's mistakes from the Kotelnik fight. First thing Cunningham needs to do is work on Alexander getting rid of that ridiculously obnoxious grunting. It gives the opponent the distinct advantage of hearing every jab/shot coming IMO. One thing I think though, Devon is going to give 150% against Bradley... hopefully we don't get the same judges who think "throwing more" is worth more than actual "connect percentage". That was a disgrace!

Side note: If Kotelnik was able to slip so many of Alexanders shots, I expect Bradley may be able to make Alexander look extremely foolish at times (especially if Bradley is able to time those "grunts").

Bradley will mess Devon up no matter how he fights. His entire career Devon has shown the same basic style and Kotelnik was just the first fighter good enough to do anything about it. Bradley will pressure, box, time Devon's jab, and just outclass him. The key is that Bradley will easily adjust to whatever Devon does, and Devon doesn't adjust to a damn thing.

I totally agree..Devon is a fighter with boxing ability and great talent but I don't see him being a thinker..Which is why I'm yet to see him make adjustments in his fights..He is use to being the more gifted fighter, whats going to happen when the fighter across the ring is just as gifted with(IMO)better ring smarts..
