Obviously this was inspired by last night. Off the top of your head, can you remember a fight that was more consistently full of fouls?
Sure, Tyson had a few nice ones - though Holyfield II can't really count as that was over in three. Last night was seven sustained rounds of headbutts, rabbit punches, hitting after the bell, hitting after the break, hitting in the nuts, holding and hitting... you name it. Compared to that, Hatton-Zoo looked like a family picnic.
Calzaghe's last-but-one fight against the likeable cheat Karbary Salem was amusing, though I seem to remember Calzaghe played it straight, so it was really only one-sided.
Then there's what I often think of boxing pre-history, such as the reputation of Marciano to have a flagrant disregard for the rules... though I confess I haven't seen enough of Marciano to really form an opinion.
But did last night's foul fest go up there with the best (or worst) of 'em?
