  • A New Found Respect For The Ballsiest Fighter In The HW's: John Ruiz!

Ok,I never was a fan of John Ruiz. He's just not my style. BUT you have to hand it to "The Quietman" for having some cajones the size of cantoloupes, let me explain: John Ruiz put out an open letter to a challenge with Vitali Klitchsko and any of the other Champions in the HW Division, but specifically calling out Vitali to a fight. Now, that my friend takes some balls and shows that Ruiz is willing to put his title and career on the line to prove he should be called the one and only champion. Now love him or hate him, God knows I'm not a fan, you have to admit putting out an open letter to challenge Vitali took some guts. If Vitali doesn't answer back in some way he will look like a ***** in front of the whole world. I have a new respect for John Ruiz, still not a fan, but a new respect. How many of you feel the same. He said he fight Vitali a long time ago. Why would this letter change anything to anyone?

I think fighters should issue challenges with their performance in the ring. Ruiz`s form sends a message to the Klitsckos that this guy is gonna hug, smother and foul for 12 rds. No one wants to see him fight this guy so the money won`t be good. Wants the point of the fight for Klit?

I reckon Johnny should really go all out from now on... doing stuff like turning up to Vitali's bouts dressed up as Charlie Chaplin and giving Vit the finger. Really go all out crazy-ape bonkers.

an open letter makes it much more dramatic and humiliating, at this point if vitali does not answer back in some way shape or form he will look like little ***** to some people. so now vitali has to answer back just to save his machismo.

I dont consider it an act of bravery at all. I mean, for one thing, Vitali probably wont take him serious anyway. Ruiz knows that..so not much danger there. And, Ruiz just wants the belt...which heavy wt. doesnt? So thats not so new or brave. And as its already been pointed out, he has called him out before. Hell, Holyfield can barley fight anymore, and he is STILL calling them all out. I just dont see how an open letter constitutes bravery And, if Vitali doesnt acknowledge this letter I wont think of him as a ***** (and I dont like the guy either) I will be thankful for him showing us all alot of mercy by not participating in that particular hug fest

Klitschko is one of the most overrated HW champs to have come along. It does not take balls for a contender to challenge him. Hell, they ALL probably want him in the ring. Ruiz is impossible for me to watch. He is the "grabbiest" HW and dullest fighter I have seen in a long time.
