    Advice on training gloves

Hi Guys and Girls, I have been training for just over a year and my gloves (Everlast Mitts) do not protect my hands very well and they smell. Can anyone recommend good quality gloves for training on bags and pads only, good cushioning etc...Can you also let me know how often you need to change gloves? Many Thanks

I want to know as well. Ive kind of heard it is best to use boxing gloves youd use in a pro boxing match to hit the focus mitts.

And also to hit the heavy bag it would be best to hit the heavy bag with gloves as they protect your hands more but i dont know if this is true. Boixing gloves are to protect your opponents face more like it IMO.

Because why would punch bag mitts be invented for? What are punch bag mitts for i ask? Its for the heavy bag i would think.
