Chavez Jr. would get dismantled by Canelo. Jabs and left hooks all night.

I see it as a terrible mismatch.

        Jr. should win.

Gomez drew with Jesse Feliciano, if I'm not mistaken.

Feliciano is all heart, but not much talent or physical attributes.

Gomez is right about Chavez Jr. being spoiled, unlike his father, Chavez Jr. did not have to fight to get out of poverty that is why he doesn't have that hunger and desire when he gets in the ring like others who box and know that boxing could be the way out...Chavez looses no problem he can just go back to his mansion living off his daddy's money....

Lets give Gomez a chance, remember what happen in the premier episode of The Contender against Peter “The Pride of Providence” Manfredo

He's gonna need more than heart to defeat Chavez. Jr is not an elite, but he does have some skills. That, combined with decent power, a good chin, and the fact that he significantly outweighs Gomez, leads me to beleive Gomez will get a bad beating. Assuming Chavez trains the way he should, ofcourse.

There is no way Bob Arum let's Chavez lose on points, doesn't happen. Gomez excels against guys like Jr, where he may have a speed advantage. I don't think Alfonso can stop him, Chavez ud12, should be competitive.
