There are reports in Venezuela that WBA bantamweight champion Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno (30-1, 10KOs) has agreed to defend his title against Lorenzo Parra (31-2, 18KOs). Parra has been fighting at super bantamweight since 2008, yet he weighs in only two pounds above the bantam limit. Moreno is due to return in November but there is still talk on whether he takes a fight in Japan or in Europe. There are offers to fight in both locations.
