Dirrell had brain damage before the Froch fight. You can see it with Dirrell's lack of coordination and inability to stand on his own feet.

It went away after that fight was over, but came back after Abraham hit him.

it's possible some fighters who died in the ring died because of the damage they suffered in the previous fight,the brain is weak ..arteries pop easy.
