How the hell did hatton not get brain damage??

I mean he almost got his head decapitated by pac. LOL in all seriousness tho about the dirrell issue. I don't buy it. I just think they just didn't want to fight each other because they are close friends. And quite honestly I don't really feel bad about not seeing that fight because it would suck(not because these two are not great and exciting fighters but because niether of them will go in there try to take the other guy out), it would be like a sparring match.

So in the end I honestly don't feel any anger towards dirrell even tho i think he's faking it. he just doesn't wan't to fight his close friend and that's fine with me cuz i dont wanna watch a half assed fight between 2 good fighters. My only gripe is why did they join a tourney of 6 where they were guaranteed to fight each other along the line.

I think theres a difference between 180lb Abraham and a 150 lb pacquiao buddy.

Maybe the late binge drinking and ******* numbed and preserved Hatton's brain.

Look at Gerald Mcclellan He was more badass than any fighter today could ever be in death, noone woulda know a damn thing was wrong with him but his brain was imploding and he had a TANGERINE sized blood clot to boot, didn't take many shots ever in his career, not from Benn or Jackson...Probably has to do alot with Genetics, some people got it, some don't, not a mother ****er on the planet wants to find out

Hatton almost assuredly has some form of brain damage. I would figure that would be the case for any really successful boxer (or atleast any pro that fought for a while) with how they label brain injuries now.

Hatton does have mild brain damage. He wouldn't sound as punch drunk as he does if he never absorbed a punch in his life.
