If he fights following the old rules without the 24 hours re-hydration? Currently his last 3 fight at welterweight he barely weighed in between 142-148. So most probably he belongs to welterweight. So how about the other welterweight fighters who can re-hydrate more than 154-160? Like Cotto, Clottey and Margarito? What division are they really belong?
What division Pac that would be?

I think he is around light welterweight to welterweight. Pac without the 24 re-hydration rule. As Willie Swindler pointed out, Pac now fighting these Junior middlewwight/middleweight at welterweight so fighting them at catchweight only justified.Last edited by straightleft; 10-07-2010, 07:58 PM.Comment

Well the same thing we can say when he was at the lower classes. When he was fighting at 130-135 he can re-hydrate up to 14lbs. So he might severely dehydrated in those weight classes.Comment

Those people not giving Pac any credit in his wins at welterweight against those junior middleweight/middleweight are just plain haters. To prove my point what chances they might be have this welterweights if they fight in their real weight classes (154-160 and above)?Comment

I don't think they have the nerve to fight these middleweights to be comparable what Pac doing right now. Maybe up to 154, at 160 I don't know. That is why a few years back, people will laugh at you by mere mentioning Pac against any welterweights as he will be murdered. Those people not giving Pac any credit in his wins at welterweight against those junior middleweight/middleweight are just plain haters. Pac would be in a welterweight without the 24 hr rehydration rule. he may be not reach the 137 lb limit but he wouldnt have to dehydrate to make the weight. he could make 140 lbs but 147 would be perfect. he'd be healthy and strong.Comment
