To answer the posts that IMDAZED and J-Ro addressed to me, Williams is a bitch because HBO forced him to take this fight and it would've never happened if Angulo decided to not be a diva. Williams is a bitch because instead of staying at 154 and 160 to face all comers he's gonna vacate the title if he wins against Martinez and move back down to fight in a less talented division where the best fighter is Berto. LMAO.
I used to like the guy, but I think he's on some bullshit with this crap of claiming to be the most feared fighter from 147-160, but can't win the title at the Middleweight limit like Martinez won his.
I do agree Pavlik pulled out of those fights with Williams, but once it was known that Kelly's hand got better it was Martinez who stepped up to the plate and not Paul Williams. End of story. I don't even like Pavlik, but unlike Dirrel's situation it was known that his hand was in bad shape and once it got better Paul priced himself out of the fight.
And unlike Insect, I place all the blame on Margarito for the rematch not happening. Same reason I quit being a Margarito fan is the same reason I don't like Paul Williams. It's called being fair and balanced.Comment

In fairness......I find it impossible to believe Margarito got a 4 million dollar offer from Williams.
HBO wouldn't put up anywhere near 4 mill for that fight. Maybe 3 and a quarter. Williams is obviously getting a cut outta that, it's probably 60-40 or 65-35 in Margarito's favor at that point.
Still, to get that offer to 4 million, that's a LOT of cake coming straight out of Goosen's pocket. Goosen aint Top Rank or GBP, I just have a hard time believing he would shell out that much of his own cash.Comment

You kidding? It was the third time Pavlik had pulled out, second time he had done it under contract. And then he signed to fight someone else two weeks later. But did that stop Williams? Who was at the Pavlik-Martinez bout and in the ring right after?
