Anyone think Williams and his team are worried about his chin? the guy has taken plenty of hits and walked through it.. he seemed hesitant as hell vs Cintron and that's what really cost him the first 4 rounds, rather then pressure he boxed and got outboxed by the superior boxer.

Paul basically gave away the opening rounds and now people say Cintron clowned him. Goodness.

His trainer to hold to wait and we'll put heat on him leater.

So obviously Cintron would look good for that short amount of time. Paul wasnt fighting HIS FIGHT yet.

I've been hard on Paul here lately and there are some things I still bash him for and I can't really say I'm a fan like I used to be. But I agree with you on this scenario Burner.

What did Pauls trainer specifically tell him to do?

Clearly losing the first 4 rounds? that's not good tactics

Paul looked scared of Cintrons power that's why he was negative

What are you on about turning up the heat as well you sound like a ******ed nuthugger.. turning up the heat is being buckled then landing 1 or 2 punches?

He told him to lose the first 4 rounds and barely tire or pressure Cintron with his low workrate? Come on man..

It's not easy to come back from such a slow start just look at Margarito vs Williams.

Yeah, I can blame them because they're paying Berto 1+ million to fight unknown bums.

And just because they say no, doesn't mean Williams can't stand his ground and demand the fight. That was an easily sellable fight with all the natural controversy around it.

Williams preferred to stay quiet and explore his non options at 47' until he sobered up and realized he'd never get a Pac or Floyd fight.

I don't see how you defend Cintron when you bash guys like Dirrel (for what he rightfully deserves) as being a soft fighter. Cintron sucks in my opinion. In my view he got lucky that night he beat Angulo because Angulo was sick and Cintron was losing the last two or three rounds of that fight and held on for dear life to keep from getting KOd.

To me, it's not about who deserved to win between Williams and Cintron. It's more about what a question mark Williams looks like for not doing what he was favored to do as you were alluding to which is beat him convincingly like Margarito and Sergio did. That right there is enough for me to question Williams. It's not about who deserved to win that fight. They both ****** and the crowd booed them. The thing that made Cintron stand out as the punk was the fact he tried to milk a cheap win.

Cintron, unlike Dirrell has never run away from a fight in the ring. He's actually been in some pretty good scraps and fought some of the toughest guys in the division.

If Cintron was a runner, on top of everything else, I'd see your point. But he's usually in some pretty good fights.

Name me any good fights Cintron has been in against good opposition besides the one against Angulo. I can't think of any. The fight against Martinez the crowd was booing it the whole time and Margarito made him cry and punked on him in the rematch. Williams' fights with Martinez, Margarito, and Quintana including the rematch were all exciting to me.
