Robert Helenius will make a first defence of his EU Heavyweight Title against Attila Levin in Helsinki on November 27. The Nordic Nightmare (13-0, 8 KOs) will take on his experienced Swedish opponent (34-3, 27 KO) at the famous Hartwall Areena, which on the same night hosts the decisive Super Six World Boxing Classic clash between King Arthur Abraham and Carl “The Cobra” Froch. While Abraham and Froch determine the new WBC Super-Middleweight Champion, Helenius is set to defend his title for the first time. “We have big plans for Robert,” Sauerland Event sports director Hagen Doering said at today´s press conference in Helsinki. “He has already proven his talents and this will be another big test for him. Levin is very experienced and strong, but if Robert listens to coach Ulli Wegner, he will definitely beat him. He will continue his impressive development with a big victory over Levin.” [Click Here To Read More]

The experienced Attila Levin is the right opponent for Helenius at this stage in his development. Attila is chinny but has one-punch KO power, so Helenius needs to be careful.
Levin has a stoppage win over Ray Austin and has defeated several other well-known heavyweights, but lost in the 1996 Olympics to Wladimir Klitschko and was stopped a few years ago in the pro ranks to Nicolay Valuev. He's won his past few fights against journeymen.Last edited by The Hammer; 10-07-2010, 11:18 AM. -

I wish I would live in Helsinki, really. Abraham-Froch and Helenius-Levin are the fights I really would like to see.
I think that with just 13 fights, it's a bit too early...Comment

That's a tough fight for Attila. I'd say Helenius by UD, but I'm rooting for Atilla for sure. I'm glad he finally got a decent fight though, hasn't fought anybody since Valuev really.
This actually makes me want to go to Helsinki, too bad the main event features two fighters I dislike.
