Comments Thread For: Steward: Briggs, The Most Diffcult Fight of Klitschko's Career

Trainer Emanuel Steward has give a warning to WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko. He advised the champion from Ukraine to stay focused in the fight with Shannon Briggs on October 16 in Hamburg, Germany. Steward told Klitschko that he can't stay too relaxed in the early part of the fight. He thinks the fight could be the toughest of Vitali's entire career.

Manny Steward's a trip. Can't wait to see Shannon get flattened.

      I agree.

Briggs has the most first-round KOs in heavyweight history.

I re-watched Lewis-Briggs yesterday. Shannon had Lewis hurt several times in the first three rounds, especially near the end of round one. But in the 4th and 5th, it was all Lewis.

If Vitali gets through the first three, he'll win the fight for sure. But he needs to be very focused and careful in the first three rounds.

Briggs is probably the biggest puncher Vitali has ever faced and Vitali is quite a bit slower than he used to be he needs to be careful. He should beat Briggs into submission though.

Briggs will be hyperventilating by round two.

Nah Vitali's most difficult difficult fight was against Larry Merchant

Vitali fights at a slow pace just right for briggs to time him
vitali doesnt set a fast enough pace to wear briggs out early
and if he does he can get his light put out. Or if he gets hurt he will quit. He must be very careful .

maybe Briggs will give Vitali his most difficult first round, but that's about it probably, I doubt Briggs can do what Lewis did : turn Vitali's face into a pizza as Wlad would call it
