That is easy to say for someone that has made this much money early in his career. That is what happen at times when too much money is given to a young fighter. Even if he becomes P4P at age of 28 he won't retire cause getting all that attention is addictive plus the purses of the fights a just that much higher. Again Amir talking out of his ass

Just make sure you fight the best, buddy. And not be like someone who retires just to avoid fighting the best.

Losing a fight is not so bad as long as you fight the best.

Naseem retired at 28 as well, although he'd lost the plot by then but seems strange why he picks 28 out of thin air.

Yeah. He'll be the one guy to do that.

C'mon. He's here til he's 31 (at least) barring something VERY strange.

It all depends on how Amir's career folds out. It's too soon to twll if he can keep that goal.

Haye is retiring next October .... so exactly how is he going to be the heavyweight savior? This guy is a con-man deluxe.

Hate when guys are talking retirement before making any kind of dent on the sport.
What is He trying to find, sympathy??

With a few exceptions, great boxers don't pick until 30-35, so maybe Khan is not that great.

if maidana manages to do what Prescott had done so beautifully, i think khan should retire right after the fight. what good is this so-called skills if one's chin is glass brittle.
