    WBA heavyweight champion David Haye continues to tell British reporters that he plans to retire by next October. Now Amir Khan, the WBA champion at junior welterweight, is stating that he plans to retire by age 28. That gives the 23-year-old Khan about five years to achieve his remaining goals in the sport.

          Never know in boxing don''t you not. See how much punishment he's took by then if he takes anymore .Mayweather quote he says that .I haven't took any punishment so I couldn't tell you .

            If he achieves all he wants to do he may retire at 28 but that age comes sofast, that i dont think he will.

            If hes performing brilliantly even he wont want to quit in case he gets better and better. If hes rubbish at 28 he will try to rectify it, so either way he fights on until 30.

              He better make sure all desired REMATCHES would be taken care of b4 28. Taking into mind some of his fights will no doubt require a rematch. Some just before they r so good and competetive the fans would want to see it again. Others becuz the decisions were controversial. I kno a lot of UK fighters tend to avoid controversial rematches like Calzaghe did to Hopkins. Hopefully he's not one of them.
