I'd go for Lacy by ko anytime before the 6th, Calzaghe will come to fight (unlike Reid who I was very disappointed in both in the ring and in the interview afterwards)and I think that'll play into Lacy's hands, the guys just so explosive that I can't see Calzaghe taking a clean shot and not be in trouble and as I say Calzaghe will try to fight back and this is where he'll get done, it would be a good action fight while it lasted but don't be surprised if Calzaghe ends up 'injured' after his fight in September, guy must have the record for pulling out of fights or proposed fights I have a hard time sticking up for him.

why do some Americans hate people from the uk? through out this post its full of Americans are better at this English are **** at everything, no fighters from UK are any good, when there is a war we always back each other up yet on here its like we are at war with each other, yes we have some crap fighters but we have great ones too, none of your so called great champions could touch Lennox Lewis apart from McCall and Rahman which he easily avenged it was all Tyson will do this and Holyfield will do that and neither of them did anything apart from get a good hiding, Ricky Hatton,Nigel Benn all great fighters ok granted you have a lot more but your a bigger country, please lets stop the UK bashing and just for the record Robin Reid has never been world class, not sure what will happen with the Lacy vs Calzaghe fight only seen Lacy fight Reid...

Great post, the only bit i disagree with is the part where you say Robin Reid was never world class. he was world class some time back, Lacy beat a bad version of Reid.

first off, glad to see this post get back to the top, forgot about it and wanted to see the poll..

and to the last comment there, almost everyone thought, if anything, Lacy would ONLY get a CLOSE decision. Let's not go saying things like 'bad' version of Reid, it's just like words such as 'washed-up' 'past his prime' etc. and its just not correct..
