Bradley vs Valero

valero has a puncher's chance, which is his only chance. bradley is by miles skilled than valero, and bradley isnt fool enough to engage a brawl against valero.
if the fight happens, bradley by 12-0 rd. UD, and valero would have an easy work punching the air.Comment

Bradley would not only have won, he would have completely and utterly dominated every second except for the potential Kendall Holt style knockdowns Valero might have gotten.Comment

Although I do believe Bradley is a better boxer, I think Valero would have completely overwhelmed him. Plus, Bradley can be hurt. I would have had Valero by knockout in the championship rounds. Actuslly, I dont even think Bradley would have taken the fight.Comment

i feel the exact opposite. the more i saw him fight, spar, whatever, the more i realize just how skilled he really was. his problem was that in the middle of his career he abandoned a lot of that skill and became a brawler.
but make no mistake about it, he did some really skillful, clever sht in the ring. the way he would feint and touch to set up bombs. the way he would punch around or through guards. the way he would beat on your arms if your guard was tight. he had some of the most fluid combos i've seen from a power puncher. we saw a glimpse of what he was capable of doing in his last fight. setting up shots with in and out movement a la pacquiao. not only setting up punching angles with his feet, but also his ability to punch from all angles. its scary what he was capable of doing when he's not in all out brawl mode.
that being said, i dont agree with the options in this poll. if bradley stayed on the inside i think he'd be able to win becuz bradley knows how to blunt the oppositions attack and maneuver on the inside to stay out of harms way.
bradley uses his footwork and jab on the outside, clinches, wrestles and works on the inside en route to an ugly UD.
He had some potential but Tim is miles ahead of where Valero was which wasn't anywhere near elite in terms of technique.
Plenty of ability but a potential never realized and I don't expect even with all that raw talent that he would beat Bradley into submission because Tim has shown to have plenty of heart in fights in addition to Valero never fighting any 140lbers never mind an elite one.Comment

People who say that if we had watched any Valero and he wasn't good are not looking at him right. Many and by many I mean the majority of the people thought he was going to be outboxed by Antonio DeMarco. On fight night not only was he man enough to continue with a bigass gash on his head for 8 rounds but he outboxed and outclassed DeMarco. Valero's fights in japan or when he was with teikken are horrible because he would get payed extra to knockout his opponents in round one because he was "Kaminari" Valero and people wanted to see knock outs. Once you get pass that and take a look at his sparring sessions where he's calm you can see a lot of potential.
Valero would have overwhelmed Bradley and eventually get aTKO.Comment
