If Ward beats Dirrell, then it cements my prediction that he'll be future P4P king

if that happens, that'd be a shame.
ward at the top of the sport would not be good for boxing.
hes boring in and out of the ring.

      The fight may be cancelled.

Ward refuses to fight another contender away from his hometown of Oakland, and Dirrell wants the fight to be in a neutral location.

What? Where is a link to this?

We do know that the fight has been rescheduled to November 27th at a venue to be named according to a Showtime Spokesman. Also, when I spoke with Dirrell, he said that the fight will happen, despite what has been reported.

would you say ward is mentally tougher than froch and abraham?

all this talk about mental toughness and dirrell not having any
yet he's wiping the floor with these egotistical self proclaimed badmen

ward is the better inside fighter and probably a little smarter too but lacks the power and is just one step behind on speed. ward has a major edge in mental toughness though not many fighters his age are that poised and mature in the ring

both these guys are going to take over at 168-175
I saw that too, I think since he was getting a rep as a boring pitty pat puncher who runs and doesn't like a tough fight he wanted to show everyone that wasn't the case against AA and I think he did that.

                  I don't like ward's "hold-n-hit" and "lead-with-the-head" style.

but if he wins the super 6, beats bute convincingly, and the winner of dawson/pascal/hopkins convincingly, and pac and pbf have retired, then he could possibly be #1 p4p.

Why are people saying Dirrell is mentally weak ? I'm curious to know why people have come to this conclusion. I mean, sure Ward has supreme mental toughness but Dirrell weak ? I don't see that at all.

Pretty sad for the sport if Ward is considered anywhere near "p4p" level status.

As long as Dirrell doesn't decide to put track shoes on he should expose the Billy Goat pretty easily. Unless its in Oakland, then I got the Billy Goat on cuts stoppage.
