Cant post the but its on fight news
After destroying his last opponent, former title challenger Daniel Attah inside of two rounds back in July, WBC #1 ranked lightweight Antonio DeMarco (24-2-1, 18KOs) is more than willing and able to get back in the ring and prove why he deserves another shot at the title. With his next date set for November 6th on the under card of Juan Manuel Lopez vs. Rafael Marquez in Las Vegas, NV, the former interim WBC lightweight champ is hard at work in the gym waiting for the call when he will learn who his next rival will be.

“After my last bout, as usual I went back to Los Mochis and spent some time with my family,” DeMarco, who hails from the Mexican boxing hotbed but resides in Tijuana, said. “I have been training for about two months and I feel stronger and quicker than before.”

DeMarco, who in his win over Attah climbed back up to the top of the rankings, is waiting patiently for his gym mate WBC lightweight belt holder Humberto “Zorrita” Soto to defend his title against Urbano Antillon on December 4th. Once that defense is out of the way, the rumor is that Soto will vacate the title and move up to jr. welterweight, leaving DeMarco with a straight shot at the title.

“My goal right now is to get another shot at the title,” the affable DeMarco stated after a hard sparring session with WBO Youth lightweight champion Mercito Gesta. “I got to challenge once already but the night did not turn out in my favor and I am anxious to redeem myself in the eyes of my family, my team, my fans and the rest of the boxing world
    WAR DEMARCO

Good post mate. I wrongly picked him to beat Valero, but I'm still a fan of him despite that loss.

Hopefully he can come back and wreak some havoc in the division.

I think once he realized how overpowering Valero's aura was he pretty much got shut down psychologically.

Valero's warrior essence was too much for him.

Kid Diamond hurt DeMarco way more times then Valero did and DeMarco reacted better. Something didn't seem right, doesnt matter though all in the past.

Kid Diamond didnt have Valero's archetypal warrior essence. Valero was just pure truth.

Sometimes that hurts moar than any punch that lands.

He felt Valero's power early and was immediately intimidated. Had he fought more reckless he would have been taken out far earlier in the fight. He was just up against a superior opponent in every department except height/length.

I feel that DeMarco will come back strong and win a belt down at 135 before moving to 140. He certainly has the size to fight as high as welterweight.
