Comments Thread For: Andre Berto Focused on Putting Freddy Hernandez "To Sleep!"

WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto is looking for a repeat of his recent performance in April, where he overwhelmed former champion Carlos Quintana with a combination of speed, power and accurate punching. Quintana, who to this day is the only man to defeat Paul Williams, was unable to last more than eight rounds before the referee saved him from further punishment.

Berto has been damn inactive, his fans have filtered away. Since June 2009, hes only has 1 fight.

lets hope Berto doesnt follow the Calzaghe way. fight bums all his career finally unify the title and beat a couple washed up names and be called an ATG. hes on that path currently.

exactly. instead of focusing on putting hernandez to sleep, he should focus on becoming a better boxer.

                    Nah.... Berto won't go undefeated...

I am a huge Berto fan, but this type of crap you can't sell to me...

How long is Berto supposed to stay green? Because I was saying this about him 3 years ago... at this point, either he's good enough to fight the best in the division or he isn't.. and whatever that answer may be.. he's at the point where he needs to fight them.

At least an ageing Mosley for a start, hell even a Clottey..
