This seems like a risky move, he's old and that's a huge jump in weight.

Tarver should just focus on commentating. He's going to get **** on.

In my head I keep seeing when David Haye made his announcement of moving up to HW after the Enzo fight, all the smack and **** talk about what a disgrace the Klitschkos were - and that he was "coming to get" them. Look at all that has transpired since, and they still haven't fought. I have a feeling the same is going to happen with Tarver. Can you imagine when it comes time to negotiate a fight between (either) Klits and Tarver? Tarver will probably demand a 60/40 in his favor, or no less a 50/50... If what's been said about the Klitschko contract negotiations are true, I just can't see it ever getting past negotiations. Antonio will never allow himself to be treated as a "second class citizen". Tarvers ego is too big to take a lesser split, he will probably say that they should feel priveledged just to be in the same ring with him LOL. What's funny though is that his last several fights (since Bernard Hopkins) had not been very impressive at all.
I think Antonio should just stick with commentating. He actually does a pretty descent job, better then I thought he would.

tarver is going to be 42 next month

who does he think he is...bernard hopkins? these fighters need to think about their health theres no use in him as a commentator if he can barely speak after klitschkos done with him

he wouldve beaten green though...green only has power...tarver wouldve gotten a wide UD win had that fight come off

I want to see what he could do before I judge, sure he is not likely to test either Klitschko but could make for some interesting matches at HW with his good technical skills and probably speed advantage over most other HWs.

The difference between Tarver and Haye is if the Klitschko's offered him a fight tomorrow he would take it. I think he'd be too small for the Klitschkos. I think stylistically he would fare better against Vitali. And whats not to say he couldn't beat Haye, Adamek, and everyone else. Hopefully he wins and gets a big fight at Heavyweight. 42 means nothing at heavyweight.
