      Mayweather's Charity Hand Touches Vegas
Youth With Time And Positive Message

Floyd Mayweather showed his champion spirit last Friday when he spoke with a group of teenagers from Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY) at their Safe Place Drop-In Center in Las Vegas. Mayweather, who will meet Juan Manuel Marquez in the ring on September 19 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas and live on HBO Pay-Per-View®, was received by the NPHY group with great admiration and appreciation for taking time out of his training schedule to give them a message of hope and inspiration.

"It is great to have a professional athlete like Floyd Mayweather come in and teach our kids what it takes to rise to the top of his profession," said Tim Mullin, NPHY Director of Operations.

The youth, who attend the NPYH life skill program once a week, were affected by Mayweather's message and related to the Champion's own trials and tribulations.

"Today was one of the most inspirational days of my life," said Breanna Watkins, age 18. "It is not easy to keep your head up and push through the storm, but after today, I realize that no matter how much you struggle, it is possible to make it out on top. I really appreciate that Floyd Mayweather and his team took the time out of their schedules to give us words of encouragement."

"Today I felt more inspired, no, I am more inspired to make a difference in this world," said Dominique Contrevo, age 17. "Having the opportunity to meet all of these amazing people is reassuring that there is still good in this world."

In addition to visiting the Safe Place Drop-In Center, Mayweather and his team frequently prepare hundreds of packed lunches for distribution to homeless people living on the streets and in makeshift tents throughout Central Las Vegas. Yet, the opportunity to interact with the youth living in these difficult conditions, is something he feels strongly about giving back to and it touched him in a different way.

"I have been fortunate enough to rise above what I was faced with as a young kid in Grand Rapids," said Mayweather. "If even a fraction of what I said to these kids today can give them hope, then I have done what I came here to do."

Mayweather does charity work ahead of star arrivals, bout

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is so ready and relaxed for tomorrow night’s ring war against Juan Manuel Marquez that he even took time out yesterday from his workouts and sparring sessions. Floyd decided to continue with his under the radar donations to the homeless and unemployed here, so he brushed off the 84-degree heat and personally handed out sack lunches with cold water in the community.

One group of children approached him for food, so Floyd asked where their mother was in the area. They pointed her out and he handed her money “to get some food for the family.” When several people returned for seconds, Floyd and his team stayed until every person who wanted food was helped. Our contributing photographer Erik Kabik was right there for this collection of compelling photos.

Exposing me of what? I only said that i believe Floyd's afraid of Pac and tends to lose it whenever Pac's name is mentioned. And that he'd lose IF and when he would actually find enough guts to face Pac.

                What is to expose there?

An intelligent conversation is when two or more people discuss things rationally and if an impass occurs and they can't see eye to eye, they agree to disagree.

Calling a person delusional simply because you don't agree to his point of view is in no stretch of the imagination a way to conduct an "intelligent" conversation.

Unless of course YOUR idea of an intelligent conversation is when you talk and everyone agrees with you and comments how "intelligent" you are.

                  Is that all?

                  Seriously?

This is enough to warrant your "does more for his community than any other boxer?"

                  Here's what manny does:

Pac helping typhoon Ondoy victims (contrary to your ignorant rant, Pac did go out of his way to help the typhoon victims)

                  He's also a peacemaker

Here's where Manny's name was actually used for blood donations:

And that's just after 15 minutes of googling.

My point? Floyd aught to be indeed lauded for his charity work and good deeds. No question there. But saying he does more for his community than any other boxer is simply FANATICal.

I refuse to read anymore of your propaganda. I'v already exposed your true colors so if you don't mind, i'm gonna use the rest of this thread to showcase Floyd's humanitarian efforts.
