    Edwin Valero vs Devon Alexander

There was a time when I thought this fight would be a blow out in Devon's favor. But when u look at it now after the Kotelnik fight... IDK

Devon is still the superior boxer, although Valero's skills r underrated and I'm sure he was still developing. Alexander is no doubt faster, but his defense is based more on staying on the outside. Do u think he could do that for long against Valero. Plus Devon was getting wobbled by Kotelnik a little. Does Kotelnik hit harder than Valero?

Valero was the superior "fighter" and that's something you can't learn in the gym.

Valero was the superior fighter at fighting soft competition, if Valero fought some of the fighters Alexander has he'd probably get his ass beat. That insane guy Valero gets highly overrated by alot of boxingscene poster, seeing how Valero was always the favored fighter in his fights against soft competition. Even Valero's last fight which was a step up in competition he was still hugely the betting favorite.

I think Valero is overrated, I don't care if he would scored 200 ko's. If never beat a contender, it's hard to picture him beating a top contender especially at 140. Total mismatch. Valero would have ended like Tyrone Brunson in my opinion.

nothing he is vastly overrated any top contender would have boxed circles around him and just give him ans beating his record is full of bums and nobodies just because he is dead don't make him out to be a god and give him undeserved credit with all this said he was pretty exciting to watch even fighting nobodies but i say Alexander takes this easily

His last opponent was a good step up and supposed to outbox him. Alexander has big defenseive flaws

Valero may not have been in with great competition but I believe Alexander is abit of a hype job Valero was a savage who kept coming pressuring and throwing punches Alexander was outbox by Kotelnik ffs

                Valero by brutal KO lol

respect homie. people get seduced by his 100% knockout ratio. he would get picked apart any contender imo.

Alexander has the skills to have been able to outbox Valero but he doesn't move his head and I think that's a disaster waiting to happen against a legitimate big puncher and Valero was a legitimate big puncher.
