I think they might be building it up a bit more so it gets to become a bigger draw, but that doesn't excuse the other competition.

bigger draw for what? it aint gonna be ppv in the states. theyre gonna sell out the bell centre or whatever that place is in montreal and theyll do good numbers in canada.

IMO, it was pascal who made the mistake. hopkins could easily win then the pascal/bute fight would lose some of its luster. he shouldve took an easier fight in the meantime.

fighting the super 6 winner isnt guaranteed big money, at least not as much money as a fight with pascal after his big win.

How is Bute vs Green a terrible fight though? Green is a contender at cruiserweight and if he beats Flores it ranks him even higher. The catchweight is Bute moving up so who cares.

I would have prefferd him to fight Pascal right away, but that can't happen early next year and there is nobody to be fought at 168 until late 2011 at best. Green is a decent fight.

For a second there I thought he was fighting Allan, now that would have been disappointing.

I don't mind them building up Pascal-Bute as long as they face each other in late 2011. This will be the biggest fight in Canadian history if built properly.
