They named it "Thunder and Lightning" sounds appropriate.

One makes a lot of noise (twitter *cough*) and the other does the damage

Weird to hear Khan say he's gonna be the big puncher. If he's gonna open up offensively he better make sure he gets the job done or Maidana is gonna capitalize on the openings

Sounds like Khan is taking the same 'supplements' Roach and Ariza are giving Manny.

really can not wait for this one!!

this is going to be a proper fight.. khan can **** already and if he goes all out with ariza's training scheme (thats ariza shakes to you guys) he will be punching even harder.

maidana puts on so much pressure in a fight that you either need to go out there and knock him out during that pressure or you have to run away from him for 8 rounds then out box him, if khans thinks he can better ortiz by putting maidana down and keeping him down then good on him..

really and trully the only thing that stopped maidana being tko'd that night against ortiz was the bell which saved maidana in the 3rd round after being dropped twice. had that bell not have come ortiz would have won as maidana was pretty badly hurt.

"When they say I have a weak chin, I respond by saying Pacquiao gave me his best shots and couldn't wobble me."

Lmao, best shots, huh? That's called sparring, Khan. It's called 16oz gloves and head gear. Pacquiao has the power to knockout people with good chins. We know damn sure ur chin ain't better than good.

Just had to comment on that

Obviously if Pac hit him right in a real fight he would be gone. But if his chin was as bad as the haters claim, he wouldn't be able to take Pac's punches even in sparring.

His chin isn't great but better. He has been hurt by very light punbig guys 135 and lower. Now I don't think that he can take a beating from Maidana but onw or two shots yes. Maidana is not a one punch KO guy, he wars with people and gets them, but has been dropped himself by a few fighters.

Now, Khan is crazy if he is gonna be the power punher as he says. He could have boxed prescott but he tried to make it a fight. He does have the Power but IMO not the best plan, and especially gving that away.

Roach won't let him get in a war. But I've heard that Roach has been working with him on fighting in the pocket, and if he learns how to do that effectively then he'll be able to sit on his punches more than in his recent fights, where he was constantly on the move. I imagine that must be what he really meant, although I'm just guessing. But he can't have meant what his words imply at face value, because Roach would never let him fight like that.
