A number of trainers have done this over the years, this isn't a Freddie thing.

DUH The main point of this is to make his sparring partners determined and fight hard.

When you face better opponents it makes you a better fighter. I doubt Roach or Manny even care about having to pay them that 1000 dollars.
Correct. And as I say, this is not new, it's an old trainers ploy.

Chavez has not chance in hell knocking down Pac in a proper fight, let alone on a spar with all the gears. I think the only person who can KD Pac is Clottey. Well, I know he lost to Pac, but he didn't come to the fight to win. If only he had done more than just show up that fight would have a completely different outcome. Anyway, Chavez is just there to help deal with Marg's height. No one with a decent brain would think that Marg will KO Pac, not because he can't, but the politics of boxing is fueled by... money, of course, and Arum wouldn't let his cash cow run out of milk.

Sound like Pac was some kind of a bum/tomato can under blanket protection by Arum/Top Rank huh genius? So now his lighting hands speed and great footwork, endless stamina, iron will and chin and many more attributes that can beat a lot of good fighters are the product of Arum brilliant career manipulation huh genius? GTFOH!

I don't think any of Paquiao's sparring partner will be able to drop him.
