People r just haters. I guess there have been a few personality traits about Leonard... something between ****iness and pride... that people don't like.

IDK what about De La Hoya. He was a nice guy. Produced great fights. Was a great boxer.... IDK. There r some fishy things about him as a promoter, but it's nothing to condemn him for

to me SRL is a class act, and as a fighter was amazing

DLH to me is a cross dressing closet **** who quit on the stool and was sent into retirement by a lightweight jumping up to welterweight

SRL is a legend and gay la hoya is a joke compared to SRL

Watch the post fight interview from whoever Oscar fought before the Tito fight. That giggly, gay ass, school girl **** was fake as hell. "I had a personal problem Larry...tee hee hee tee hee hee..." I have come to accept Oscar as a fake. Im fine with it. As a fighter I will always enjoy looking back on the great fights he gave us. Loved the man as a fighter. Ray? I never had any issues with Ray.

I aklways preffered Hagler over Leonard but I still respect him for the ability he has and the brains he has.

Oscar? I'm BEGINNING to get a little tired of him but then I tend to get sick of boxing promoters generally. Both of these guys have tried to become promoters and Leonard failed at the job.

I've never though of either of them as fake but one thing I know is that Oscar came from a poorer background than Leonard and is now much better off. He mixes in the richest circles of the well to do now. That is his social circle because of the work that he does. This probably makes him a little uncomfortable and make him seem fake because of that circle.

Leonard on the other hand was middle class and tried to make out he was some kind of ****** kid. That doesn't come across well either.

I don't think Leonard comes across as fake...some of the stuff he did was kinda cold(having a press conference just to retire in front of Hagler, waiting forever to give Hearns a rematch,etc.)...and smart matchmaking but he doesn't seem phony to me...

I don't think Oscar's really fake he just has a feminine voice...I doubt Oscar is a COMPLETELY different person behind closed doors...

They were pretty boys. Good talkers with big tv dates and good money even before they were ranked. But the reason they got all the attention was also because both were olympic gold medalists and posessed alot of skills. I guess I overlooked the media darling stuff because both came through as professionals. And neither hid behind an undefeated record. They both tried to prove they were the best by fighting the best.

ray leonard seems like a genuine nice guy...he had some ****iness about him while he was younger but he doesnt seem fake....

de la hoya is fake...the way he used to try and be a gentleman when he lost in the ring against mosley and tito but would swear more than a redneck with a stolen banjo in the dressing room. also his wife kind of indicated he has this temperament and she sometimes has to leave him alone to avoid an argument....panda thinks it was the countdown to dlh-forbes where she said that

the fake smile always gave it away
