If Manny were to win, THAT is a legacy win over the p4p complete boxer.

Floyd wins vs Manny it will be discredited and he was "expected" to win.
You're being unbelievably ******. Pacquiao is by far the biggest challenge of Floyd's career to date. Floyd would be the favourite, but in boxing, the favourite often loses; Pac has been the favourite to lose many of the fights he has won; and if Floyd wins, it will be by far the best win of his career to date. And if he doesn't fight Pac, Floyd's legacy will be seriously tarnished.

Currently Floyd is heading for an ATG ranking just inside the top 50. If he beats Pac convincingly, he'd go up to top 20.

If Floyd beats Manny in all honesty it isn't a legacy win for Floyd.

Most experts EXPECT Floyd to beat Manny should they ever fight, coupled with the fact of the conditions Manny won his recent fights.

          Floyd is the complete boxer.

          Manny isn't.

Discuss why YOU would feel it would be a legacy fight if Floyd beats Manny. Because to me Floyd is definately the man to beat and gain a legacy win from.
Your boy won't even fight, so stop making these ****** posts and take up something else and get a life. Get a brain while you're at it too!

floyd's already beaten the linear welterweight champion of the world carlos baldomir. now if that's not a legacy win i don't know what is.

The way i see it, a victory of Pac over floyd or floyd over pac would definitely improve the legacy of the victor.

Let me put it this way.

Who in Floyd's resume would beat a victory over Pac?

Pac has been rated P4P #1 by The Ring for the last two years and P4P #2 for two years before that. He was voted fighter of the decade by the Boxing Writer's Association of America. His achievements have been compared by many respected boxing historians with those of Henry Armstrong. He and Floyd are head and shoulders better than any other Welterweight. Pac's win over Cotto was just as dominant as Floyd's win over Mosley, and Cotto had beaten Mosley. Plus, not fighting the best available competition is always enough to bump someone down at least 20 places in the ATG rankings.

Pac is a far bigger test than any other fighter Floyd has ever faced; and no amount of ignorant, xenophobic and racist posts will change that fact.
