Anyone have a recent pic of Marg?

Pac walks around at 149 ish so he won't look ripped, but he may end up being muscular if you know what I mean.

Not a good thing since he loses speed when I see him at 145/147.

Muscle does win a fight or is sign of KO power. The biggest KO artist in the sport didn't show much muscle. Power comes with transferring you weight from your back to snap on the opponents chin.
If it was about muscle, body builders would rule Boxing.
Actually, Pacquiao looks like He is growing to the welterweights.
Maybe after He picks up this paper title, He will go down and do what Mayweather didn't do. Clean the Welterweight division (hopefully without crying about a few lbs.)
      That I will respect.

Muscle can slow you down indeed, howeve muscle also gives strength, and with the technique, you create power.

Pac transfer power through his feet, calves, thighs, hips, strong core muscles to his arms. His neck is bigger now and he can take better punchers IMO.

With the right technique to punch, or skill, muscle is a very good thing. Hence why I feel the fast, accurate Pacquiao now is a very dangerous puncher.

Pacquiao is only like 5'6" fighting at 152 and it's only been about two weeks into his training camp.

I don't expect him to look like a greek god.

Antonio Margarito is a fitness freak and he stays in fighting shape throughout the year, whether he has a fight lined up or not.

          These photos aren't shocking.

I think Manny will be in shape and that he'll win, but I'll say it again: He should retire after this fight. He has got too much **** on his hands and can't be as focused on boxing as he should be.

Yes I see your point, with all the working out all boxers have muscle and need it not only for fighting, but for general ringship. I'm talking about the ripping look. Lazy looked like He could tare your head off, but looked weak against a guy that looked like a tennis player, Calzague. Roy Jones Jr looks like He can take you out with any blow, but looked weak against HOP.
IMO, the ripping body doesn't really tell you the story.

A good boxer who does weights is Mosley. He is powerful in all aspects.

Lacy was an OK boxer, but footwork was not there and speed.

Boxing is a unqiue sport and you have to train everything.

I agree a muscular body doesn't mean you will win a boxing match, but being ripped is slightly different and a good sign someone has trained well, especially if they have been ripped before.

Roach does this every time Pac fights, when will you people learn?

Every time it's "Pac isn't training seriously, he's a long way off" blah, blah, blah..

Then comes the fight and Pac destroys everyone in front of him.
